What information we collect
When completing the registration form the client provides full name, personal identification number or date of birth, address, mobile phone number, e-mail and other information. The customer may provide information on the bank card that will be used to make payments or for which the customer wants to use information services offered in ePay.bg.
We use technology to gather information about the IP address of the client, the data on information transfer, entry into the network and other communications data relating to the Customer when it is required by ePay AD and Easypay AD for the purposes of risk control and security, implementation of regulatory obligations or for other legal purposes.
Another type of data associated with the client, can be provided to us by the client's web browser. When you visit our website, our web servers automatically receive statistical data related to your visit. Such data may be: the first page you visited on the site, date and time at which you entered the site. The information is used to administer the website and maintain security control, as well as in connection to the implementation of statutory obligations.
ePay AD may ask the client to provide their mobile phone number and email address in order to send codes that customers can enter for additional identification when carrying out transactions, changes in password or certificate for access to ePay.bg and other actions by the client.
In connection to the execution of their legal obligations to prevent fraud and money laundering and / or to protect customers against possible fraud when a customer opens a Microaccount or is using payment services in EasyPay AD, EasyPay AD may acquire customer information from third parties, including data on legal proceedings, credit reports and more.
Pages of companies involved with ePay.bg and other pages of ePay.bg include a link to the web pages of third parties. These websites are governed by their own privacy policies and ePay AD and EasyPay AD are not responsible for their work, including but not limited to their practices regarding the protection of personal data security.
Restrictions on the use of services provided by ePay AD and EasyPay AD
It is not desirable that our services be used by persons under 16 years.
Correspondence
We will keep on record any correspondence related to customer service, by ePay AD and EasyPay AD, as well as by the customers. Telephone calls of our customers can be recorded. We store these records in order to evaluate and improve our customer service and to prevent or investigate potential abuse in the use of our services. Records are kept for a certain period of time after which they are deleted.
Use of information from ePay AD and EasyPay AD
We collect, store and process your personal data on servers located in the Republic of Bulgaria. The information we collect about you, we use:
1. For opening, administering and closing a user’s profile in ePay.bg through which our services are used.
2. To execute client orders for payment or receipt of payment.
3. To notify the client about changes in the services provided by ePay AD and EasyPay or other information relating to the use of client services.
4. For the conduct of checks in order to prevent fraud and money laundering.
5. To satisfy the regulations governing payment services, including the storage of data on transactions.
6. To improve and refine our products and services. Access to the personal data of our customers have only those employees who need to have it in order to perform their duties and responsibilities.
If you are a registered customer in ePay.bg, your name, e-mail address, phone number (if applicable) may be submitted to another user, who is the beneficiary of a payment you have made through ePay.bg. If you are a legal entity, we will introduce other customers in ePay.bg to the URL of your website and any information on contacting you and customer service you provide. The numbers of your credit / debit cards or other financial information will NEVER be revealed to someone who you have paid or who has paid you through ePay.bg, except in cases when you give us your explicit consent or if we are obliged to provide such a request to the competent authorities in accordance with applicable regulations.
ePay AD and EasyPay AD do not provide or share any part of your personal data with third parties, except under the limited circumstances described below, or with a clear consent from the client.
1. We provide information to companies who help us to process transactions you initiate and to protect our clients' transactions from fraud, such as by providing encrypted information on your debit / credit card to BORICA - BANKSERVICE (national operator of the system for the service of card payments) to check the validity of the card.
2. We disclose client information if we are required by law in order to assist in investigations of fraud and other illegal activities, or to conduct investigations of violations of our Terms of Service.
3. We provide information in response to a court order, injunction or similar legal process or at the request of the competent regulatory authorities.
Access to and modification of personal information
You can view and edit personal information you have provided through the relevant edit section in your ePay.bg account. You can also disable your account in ePay.bg by contacting us by phone on the telephone numbers provided on our website.
Information Security
ePay AD and EasyPay AD are committed to maintaining customer information according to current safety standards. Information about your debit / credit card is stored in encrypted form on a computer that is not connected to the Internet. We restrict access to your personal data only to employees whose duties and job responsibilities require knowledge of this information to be able to provide you with our products and services.
All the information you exchange with ePay.bg, is encrypted and transmitted via SSL protocol, and each Web page in the system is only available through https://www.epay.bg.
We have provided physical and electronic protection of stored data that meets national regulations and requirements concerning the protection of personal data. External licensed international companies conduct periodic audits of our systems and processes for security.
The security of your account in ePay.bg also depends on your protection of your personal password in ePay.bg. Please do not share your ePay.bg password with anyone. Use of temporary code SMS, one-time password dpass or qualified electronic signature provides a higher level of protection as an additional element to log in and make a payment.
Any email or other communication which wants your password, or asks you to provide personal information about your account /such as your password and user name/ by email or to contact a web site that does not begin with URL - https://www.ePay.bg/ should be treated as unauthorized and suspicious and should be reported immediately to ePay.bg using email or phone, the number of which is provided on ePay.bg’s website. If for some reason you share your ePay.bg password with a third party, you are responsible for all acts committed by your profile in ePay.bg. If you suspect that someone has gained access to your password, please change your password immediately through your ePay.bg profile and let us know via email: office@epay.bg or by phone: 02/9210880.
Notification of changes
The Privacy Policy can be updated and changed in the future with the addition of new functions or services in ePay.bg. We will post the revised Privacy Policy prominently in ePay.bg. The changes will be deemed to have entered into force from the date of their publication on the site ePay.bg. If the client does not agree with the terms of the Privacy Policy, the customer may at any time terminate the use of the services and close their ePay.bg profile, as described above.
